This development comes on the heels of recent revelations implicating former President Oriola Oladipupo, former General Secretary Basit Abubakar, and other key individuals in a scheme to mismanage alumni funds. The earlier report, which highlighted accusations of funds being funneled into personal projects and even proof of funds for international travel, has now escalated, with Engineer Oyekemi calling for further investigation into the matter.

Sources suggest that Engineer Oyekemi’s move may have been spurred by new evidence of financial improprieties, which allegedly extends beyond just the former NEC members.
